  • Lixer

Sooooo Tina gonna set all of this up just to blame Erica for everything going wrong? My goodness….

  • Long Locs

The Mary’s each do things that sabotage their working relationship. Tina adds fuel to every fire and Erica’s manipulative. Warren is selfish and only good with making music. I’m glad it’s the last season because I’m losing the interest that I once had to see them win. What’s it all for?

    • You it right on the sister flabby arm!

    • KDC

Why do you think Erica is manipulative?

      • Long Locs

        1. She’s trying to use her sister to help her husband
        2. She’s trying to use gangsta rap to sell gospel
        3. She’s “competitive” to the point of egomania
She’s a pretty package but severely lacking in spiritual depth in her choice of actions. I’m not even going to pick on her church, too easy!

        • KDC

Interesting view point. Things probably would be much better if they didn’t use Warren. Too much of a conflict of interest. I didn’t view the song as gangsta but I do know when contemporary gospel artist go that route it does tend to get some backlash. They also just need to let Mary Mary go at this point Smh I have lol and I really liked them together. Maybe if they let that go and Warren stops producing then it won’t seem as competitive 🤔 idk I can’t figure them out lol

        • Librariesarefree

Gangsta rap is a stretch. She’s not Snoop Dogg.

          • Long Locs

She and her husband call it “Gospel Trap” it’s a clear reference to drug culture music. Also Warren used to produce for Death Row Records, so its not a stretch for the well informed. Especially considering that Snoop Dogg was on their roster.

          • Librariesarefree

Shade won’t get you into heaven just like Ericas music ain’t sending anyone to hell.

          • Long Locs

Lmao, but the truth shall set you FREE! Praise the Lord for my freedom of speech!

          • jtv1994

People are so closed minded. Older people talk about the kids not waiting to get to know God or get close to him. But that’s because no one is making anything they can relate to, that’s why you need people like a Lecrae

          • Long Locs

I find God through meditation, like Mary Mary sang, “It’s the God in me!”

          • jtv1994

Yeah in that method works for you. But I’m talking about younger people, you have to create content that can engage them. So what’s wrong with a little 808’s and Hi-hats on a beat with some bass? If you’ve notice we learn better through music, you more than likely learned your ABC’s because it was put in the form of a song.

So the same goes for younger people, who may want to find God, but can’t really relate to the bible or older preaches. So gospel trap or whatever you wanna call it can be that bridge.

          • Long Locs

Again you missed my point, and are elaborating on your own separate point, have a good night

          • jtv1994

I disagree. True enough the word “trap” is a term for drug house or whatever. But in music it’s also a term for a type of sound, just like “Drill Music”. Just like trap R&B, which is 808’s, Hi-hats, Bass, and maybe a little mumble. So “Gospel Trap” just means instead of using an old tired organ, we gone use a synth, add some nasty speaker blowing bass, and crazy hi-hats. It’s more of a sound then lifestyle.

          • Long Locs

You missed my point and are talking about something else

        • mikster

          all of this

          • Long Locs

Hey Mikster thanks for the co- sign. I been getting a kick out of your comments for a minute

        • Crystal Stewart

I agree with #3 and that’s it. Erica is very competitive and driven. Her husband is the same way, which is unhealthy. I think that those two will divorce before Tina and Teddy. I disagree with #1 because Erica had BEEN trying to get Tina onboard with a Mary Mary album since season 1. TINA flipped the script on her because of her personal issues with her husband. Erica went through the same thing with Warren and she expects Tina to push through and produce. They are wired differently, but at the end of the day they are kind of the same. Hence why Tina agreed to do a concert in Kenya ON Erica’s ANNIVERSARY without her permission. Tina was looking a unique opportunity. But, that was very inconsiderate and selfish. Really, the running implications behind the Mary Mary split is that Tina felt like she could do whatever she wanted since she has the more powerful or powerhouse voice and Erica “needs” her. And Erica is trying to prove she can be successful without her even though she really does not want to.

          • Long Locs

Well, what about my #1? Warren took the album advance $$$ without the 2 ladies knowledge or permission. Now it’s an obligation/loan on him and his wife is only trying to force the album now because of the debt. I’m think reasons for wanting or not wanting to make a Mary Mary album have changed more than once over time. But at this point the only reason seems to be Warren’s self inflicted stress factor.

      • Librariesarefree

        Bc church ppl so judgey.

      • Librariesarefree

Bc church ppl are judgey lol

    • Ang

ITA. Erica is manipulative and sneaky. Warren is too. Erica acts like she’s sweet and a victim of Tina but she and Warren are all about themselves they are just more low key about it. She was doing too much about that anniversary. Tina declined a show for her anniversary bc she already had plane tickets and a hotel booked in Hawaii. Erica could have went to dinner with Warren anytime.

  • IAmLawlessBrooks

To me,,,Tina is abit to much! Such a drama queen and we alll know she cringed when the crowd was singing Ericka’s song

  • Ang

The good: Tina’s performance was gorgeous on her.

The bad: everything else…except for Teddy’s parenting. I see why Teddy hasn’t left Tina. He’s probably afraid to have her be the primary caregiver for the kids. It was of Teddy to try to find the reason his daughter’s grades slipped rather that just yelling at her. He’s right about kids going through things too and needing to get to the root of the problem. I was appalled by Tina’s reaction. She should relate to stress affecting performance under pressure bc it happens to her too. More black people need to realize depression is real even in kids. The girl has seen a lot of her parents’ problems and dealing with being a teen. She needs to talk to someone. Tina should have talked to her like she did Erica’s daughter. I never thought I’d compliment Teddy but he was right here. Erica didn’t need their daughter’s biz on the show. I’m glad this is the last season before they can embarrass their kids more publicly.

    • You’re right about the teen daughter. She is dealing with a lot. How do you explain to your dad the want that is consoling you that I’m depressed because of your dog ways. The mother is too busy streaming on her about her grades. This is a hotmess. Screaming is not going to help her get better grades, a tutor will along with family counseling. They better fix this now because a grown man do.

      • Ang

I think the climate in their home is affecting the kids. Clearly, she felt more comfortable talking to Teddy than Tina because she didn’t tell Tina any of that. That’s why Teddy had to clue Tina in about the way the girl was feeling. I think he was watching his words not to say too much about the girl on camera. A lot of their marriage problems are a result of Teddy’s cheating but I’m sure Tina’s aggression and constant screaming at everyone puts the kids on edge. Tina is yelling at someone in almost every scene at her house. Even her mom looks like she’s walking on eggshells around her.

        • You know what….. Yes a lot of the marriage/household issues that they are experiencing stems from Teddy cheating. But that’s not all. I love Tina. She is who she is. There’s no guessing, unlike with Erika. Now with that being said, we see how she is. I can understand why Teddy probably was cheating all over the place. Do I condone cheating? Never. But I can understand why some folks do it, in certain situations.

          • Ang

Yes. With Tina you know where she stands. Erika is sneaky with her dirt, like how she told Tina she just wanted her to come to the show then announced on the radio Tina was going to perform knowing Tina didn’t agree to that.

I don’t blame Tina for Teddy’s cheating at all but I always thought it was odd that she said she was totally blindsided bc she thought they had the perfect marriage. It’s not like he only cheated once. If she never noticed something was off they had to have some communication issues or something.

          • SanMarie Kirk

I said that also and felt bad after I said it. I’ve seen husbands deal with mean and nagging over bearing wives. They loves their wives and children. I would rather have him just left, no I don’t, because it’s about family. Like it was said he not leaving those children. We are all human, and Tina with the cheating I’m tired of hearing about it. Either she going to forgive or just break up and we know that is not going to happen. If I was Teddy I would ask her to put all that mess behind us while we on TV, I feel she keeps speaking on it because she cares what her fans feel. Can’t live that way.

    • AmiraAlexandria

While I applaud Teddy’s parenting, most men prefer to stay with the wife because it’s easier. Men are lazy cheaters. While they cheat they always pine after the original wife.

      • Ang

Teddy looks like he can’t stand Tina most the time. Hes not pinig for her. He’s counting down the days.

        • Keith R King

At this point if Teddy does divorce Tina, I’ll understand because if they did all that forgiving and praying and doing the teddy and tina stuff and no spiritual growth is happening??? its a waste. Also the kids see whats going on in that house. Don’t downplay the kids attention to detail when it comes to mama and daddy

        • Crystal Stewart

I actually think Erica and Warren should divorce. No woman should have to deal with a man who pimps her out like that. It’s not literal pimping, but it is in another form. I cannot stand that man. Teddy and Tina have their issues, but at least she has sense enough to take a step back from the fame, traveling and money to realize her husband and raising their family is more important than touring, making albums, etc. Her husband needs her and she needs him. That was horrible the way he cheated, but he is a more reasonable and compassionate man than Warren.

  • KDC

So I’d bet money that if it was Tina’s anniversary she wouldn’t have done that show. I find it interesting how she said “we both agreed to this so I blame you too” when discussing how the travel arrangements were impossible. We all know if Erica said no then Tina would’ve never let her live it down and would’ve always used it as an example of how she said yes that one time.

    • AmiraAlexandria

      Unfortunately, Tina doesn’t see herself.

  • linda

Is anyone really waiting for a Mary Mary album? I love them but i aint checking for it.

    • Chantel

At this point it aint going to happen

    • Music

Every season they promised a new album, and we haven’t gotten anything yet. At this point, their fans have started to move on. Especially with Tina and her Trump comments. They may as well release a Greatest Hits album to satisfy their Sony contract, and call it a day.

  • dirtychai

    I miss Mitch. That’s all.

  • Music

Can you all please post the new season of “Iyanla: Fix My Life.”….Thanks a bunches! 🙂

  • jtv1994

I just think Tina is mental and needs professional help

  • jtv1994

You can tell Tina is a little bit jealous of Erica’s success.

  • Tameshia Godfrey

I was happy to see they had another season but can’t watch after hearing Tina voted for Donald Trump.

  • pettypatty

Tina clearly doesn’t hear how selfish and unaccountable she’s sounding. WOW she’s a nutcase.

  • Lovë 22

You get a grade for homeroom Tina? Who knew.

  • cleva

I peeped that Mitch is still a producer of this show. smh
